Projects and entrepreneurship
The CPES places initiative and entrepreneurship at the heart of its pedagogy. From the first year, students engage in structured collective projects, experiment with design approaches and take ownership of the fundamentals of project creation.
Objectives
- Develop autonomy, creativity and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide concrete methods for turning an idea into a viable and defensible project.
- Connect students with a network of academic tutors and professional partners.
Support
The programme offers:
- Practical workshops on entrepreneurship, design thinking and project management.
- Personalised mentoring by tutors from academia (lecturer-researchers) and from the professional world.
- Pitch sessions before a jury and feedback sessions with external speakers (entrepreneurs, researchers, etc.).
Examples of activities
- Social and solidarity project: a team project carried out over two years, grounded in a real need identified in the local area. It includes several pitch phases, regular follow-up and a final dissertation.
- Capstone project with HEC Paris: see the dedicated page
- Student competitions: participation in various challenges and competitions organised by the CPES partners (Hi! PARIS, etc.).
- Entrepreneurial associations: access to the network of associations on the Paris-Saclay campus, a lever for networking and concrete engagement.
