Languages, sport and cultural workshops

The CPES offers a personal development strand built around three areas: language learning, sports activities and cultural workshops, through Université Paris-Saclay. These activities aim to develop transferable skills and intercultural awareness.

Languages

Reinforced English courses focused on scientific and academic terminology, taught in half-groups within the school.
Khôlles in English and project presentations in English, preparing students for the requirements of international programmes and grandes écoles.
Access to a wide catalogue of languages through Université Paris-Saclay, at all levels: Spanish, German, Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, etc.

Sport

Thanks to the partner institutions, students can practise a wide variety of sports on the Paris-Saclay campus facilities: football, basketball, tennis, swimming, etc.
CPES students may also be invited to take part in sports events on campus.

Cultural workshops

Workshops in a variety of fields: music, theatre, cinema, visual arts, etc.
Access to the campus cultural programme.
Opportunity to take part in collective interdisciplinary projects with an artistic or civic dimension.

These activities are open to all CPES students and are an essential way of balancing the academic demands of the programme with a rich and structured student life.
